Ofem revealed on his Facebook page that he is aiming for a 30-hour non-stop trumpet performance. He recently met with the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, to discuss his record attempt.

According to Ofem, the meeting was a “productive and insightful discussion” where he presented his vision, objectives, and the broader impact of the event. He noted that the Deputy Governor expressed interest in the initiative, highlighting its alignment with his “humanitarian values and commitment to youth empowerment.”

“He graciously pledged his support and encouraged us to remain steadfast in the pursuit of our dream, regardless of any challenges we may face,” Ofem wrote in his post.

Ofem’s attempt comes as other Nigerians have also pursued and achieved Guinness World Records in various fields.

His project manager, Mr. Elvis Eteng, accompanied him to the meeting. Ofem expressed his gratitude to his “boss” Engr. John Odey and “Manager Capable Ofemtv” for their support. He concluded by saying that he is confident the project will “not only set a record but inspire many.”
