In a significant boost for digital innovation and entrepreneurship in Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima GCON, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, officially commissioned the Cross River State ICT Hub as part of activities during the 8th Expanded National MSME Clinic. This landmark event marks a pivotal moment in the state’s commitment to fostering a vibrant tech ecosystem.
The newly established ICT Hub, supervised by the Cross River State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (CRSMEDA), is set to drive digital innovation and job creation. Located within the newly renovated State library complex, the hub is designed to be the go-to destination for aspiring entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts.
The ICT Hub offers a co-working space for startups and freelancers, startup incubation support for new businesses, as well as tech training & skills development initiatives designed to enhance digital skills. Visitors to the hub can take advantage of the free high-speed internet connectivity, uninterrupted power supply, and a vibrant community of innovators and tech enthusiasts eager to connect and collaborate.
