The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, celebrated Nigeria’s U20 women’s national football team, the Falconets, with a staggering $15,000 cash reward on Saturday. The gesture came after the team’s impressive 4-0 victory over Rwanda in the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers held at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
