The Cross River State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (CRSMEDA) has officially introduced the recently commissioned ICT Hub to the tech community in Cross River State through a networking event tagged “Techies Connect.” The event brought together local tech professionals to also strengthen the state’s tech ecosystem and share updates on the new facility.
The Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Cross River State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (CRSMEDA), Great Ogban, stated that the ICT Hub is a strategic initiative by the state government to harness the potential of tech entrepreneurs in the region.
The event’s agenda included a guided tour of the newly commissioned hub and a mini-ideation session. Attendees also received a presentation on the hub’s objectives from its manager, Ekuri Ekuri Asu.
The CRS ICT Hub is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support local innovation. It features a fully equipped 100-person workstation, complete with desktop computers, high-speed internet, and a reliable 24-hour power supply.
