The University of Calabar (UNICAL) recently announced the promotion of 24 academic staff members to the professorial cadre. The announcement was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Florence Obi.
A total of 12 lecturers were promoted to the rank of Professor, while another 12 were elevated to the position of Associate Professor. The promotions span across a wide range of faculties, including science, education, medicine, and engineering.
