French Montana is now engaged to the Princess of Dubai, Sheikha Mahra with $1.1Million Ring

American rapper French Montana has confirmed his engagement to Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum, with wedding preparations now underway.

A publicist for the 40-year-old rapper, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, told TMZ on Wednesday that the couple got engaged in June during Paris Fashion Week. While no official wedding date has been announced, sources say both families are “delighted” by the union. The engagement ring is reportedly a custom-designed, 11.53-carat emerald-cut diamond valued at over $1.1 million.

The announcement follows months of speculation about their relationship, which began after they were first linked in October 2024. The couple has since been seen together in Dubai, Paris, and Morocco, and were spotted holding hands at a fashion show where Montana made his runway debut.

The engagement came just over a year after Princess Mahra, 31, announced her separation from her former husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, in a now-deleted Instagram post. She and Sheikh Mana share a one-year-old daughter.

French Montana, best known for hits like “Unforgettable” and “No Stylist,” previously dated reality TV star Khloé Kardashian in 2014. In a 2016 interview with Elle, the rapper commented on the emotional sensitivity of being with partners who have gone through divorces.
