The ancient town of Calabar in Cross River State was the epicenter of political and societal gathering over the weekend as Ada Bekwarra II, Hon. Signor Omang Idiege, celebrated the wedding of his son, Dr. Idiege Omang Idiege, to his bride Miss Fortune Tobyrich Toby.
The high-profile ceremony drew a galaxy of dignitaries from within and outside the state, highlighting the influence of the Ada Bekwarra II.
The list of attendees included top political figures, serving commissioners and legislators, underscoring the event’s significance.

The Cross River State Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Michael Odere, who chaired the occasion, commended the couple for starting a new phase of life. He prayed for God’s guidance and encouraged them to remain united and supportive of each other.

In his heartfelt remarks, the father of the groom, Ada Bekwarra II, Hon. Signor Omang Idiege, expressed immense joy and thanked God for allowing him to witness his son’s wedding.
