NANS South-South Confers Ambassadorial Honour on Engr. George Abang for Educational Advocacy

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), South-South Zone B, has officially conferred an Ambassadorial Award on Engr. George Ndifon Abang, PhD, in recognition of his extensive contributions to human development and student welfare.

The prestigious honour was presented by the NANS Zone B Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel Iwara, who lauded Engr. Abang for being a consistent pillar of support for the student community across the region.

Speaking during the presentation, Comrade Iwara noted the far-reaching impact of Engr. Abang’s philanthropic initiatives to scholars. He specifically said that through his foundation, the awardee has successfully implemented programs benefiting students across primary, secondary and tertiary levels of education.

A standout mention was made of Engr. Abang’s signature “Back to School” campaign, which has provided essential resources and empowerment to thousands of young people.
