Dr. Mrs Blessing Egbara has congratulated the Governor of Cross River State, Apostle Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office, commending his administration for staying committed to the “People First” vision of governance.
In a congratulatory message released to newsmen, Dr. Egbara described Governor Otu’s leadership in the last three years as people-focused, calm and purposeful, noting that the administration has continued to place the welfare and interests of Cross Riverians at the centre of governance.
According to her, the Governor’s “People First” mantra is not just a slogan, but a policy direction that has reflected in the way his government relates with the people and handles the affairs of the state.
She stated that the administration’s efforts across key sectors have helped restore hope and confidence among citizens, while also promoting peace, stability, and development across different parts of Cross River State.
Dr. Egbara further praised Governor Otu for his dedication and steady commitment to the progress of the state, saying his style of leadership has continued to earn the trust and support of many Cross Riverians.
“I join the good people of Cross River State in celebrating Your Excellency on this special occasion and thanking God for the great things He has done for our state through your leadership,” she said.
She prayed for God’s continued wisdom, strength, and good health upon the Governor as he continues to lead the state, adding that Cross River remains safe and secure under his administration.
Dr. Egbara also wished Governor Bassey Otu greater success in the years ahead as he continues to advance the vision of a better Cross River State for all.
