C’River Dep. Gov. Announces Resolution of APC Central Senatorial Candidacy Dispute, Calls for Unity

The Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, has announced the resolution of the issues surrounding the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidacy for the Central Senatorial District.

Speaking after a meeting held earlier today at his residence, at the instance of His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, the Deputy Governor disclosed that all matters pending before the courts have been withdrawn in the interest of party unity and progress.

Rt. Hon. Odey expressed appreciation to Senator E. J. Williams for his maturity, understanding, and statesmanship throughout the process. He called on all APC supporters and the good people of the Central Senatorial District to unite behind the party’s candidate, Hon. Oden Ewa, and work together to secure victory for the APC in the forthcoming elections.

The Deputy Governor also appealed to party faithful to put aside all differences, embrace the collective decision reached, and remain committed to the unity, peace, and success of the party.
