Senator (Associate Professor) Stephen Odey on Monday, June 30, 2025, officially received His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State, in Ogoja. Senator Odey represented the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Senator Apostle Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for the visit.
Governor Kefas expressed his sincere appreciation to Governor Otu for sending a delegation to welcome him, noting his elation at the gesture.
The Taraba State Governor arrived in Ogoja to attend the burial ceremony of his late brother-in-law, Pastor Dr. Mark Ujum Igbodor. He was accompanied by his course mates, Major General Emeka Emmanuel Ejim and Brigadier General Sylvester Anyogo.
