At the just concluded APC South-South Stakeholders Meeting in Edo State, our own Barr. Alphonsus Eba, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, proved once again that leadership is about courage and clarity.
He didn’t just speak, he stood firm and spoke truth to power.
While some hesitated, Barr. Eba made it clear, Cross River State must STOPPED be sidelined again in national affairs.
He passionately reminded stakeholders that our state has always stood by the party, even when it wasn’t fashionable to do so.
He recalled how former Governor Ben Ayade took a bold step into APC when the odds were against him and how that step laid the foundation for the growth we now enjoy.
Today, our amiable Governor Senator Prince Bassey Otu is building on that legacy.
With four APC governors now in the South-South, the tide is turning, and Cross River remains a major contributor to that progress.
Chairman Eba called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the national leadership of the APC to consider Cross Riverians for more national positions. His message was simple but powerful; If you want us to deliver in 2027, empower us now.
Even when the event MC tried to rush him, he stayed focused.
That’s the mark of a leader who knows the value of his people and won’t settle for less.
We salute you, Barr. Alphonsus Eba. You are more than a party chairman, you are a true voice of Cross River and a political evangelist leading from the front.
