Comrade Daniel Obo Jnr, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Mobilization, has initiated a grassroots voter sensitization campaign in Obubra, meeting with leaders from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).
During the meeting, Comrade Obo emphasized the critical importance of voter registration, telling the religious leaders, “There is power in your PVC that can determine our individual and collective fates

.” He urged all Christians to participate in the ongoing free voter registration exercise, framing it as a civic duty.
“I encourage all sons and daughters of Cross River State to rally behind Governor Bassey Otu’s administration. With a clear vision for the state’s development, it’s important that we lend our full support. We can do that by seizing this opportunity to obtain our PVCs and cast our votes during the next general elections, thereby contributing to the state’s progress.”
His message was well-received by the local Christian leadership. Both Pastor Victor Ovat, the Obubra CAN Chairman, and Apostle Celestine Agu, the PFN President, publicly endorsed the initiative. They committed to mobilizing their congregations to register and vote, citing the importance of good governance.
The leaders also praised Obo’s proactive approach, noting his commitment to the people even outside of the election cycle.
This event is part of a broader mobilization effort across Cross River State aimed at gathering support for the political agenda of the Tinubu/Otu administration.
