Independence @65: Hon. Signor Omang Idiege (Ada Bekwarra II) Urges Nigerians to Build a Future of Peace

As Nigeria marks her 65th Independence anniversary, Ada Bekwarra II, Hon. Signor Omang Idiege, has extended warm greetings to all Nigerians and especially the people of Bekwarra.

In his message, Hon. Idiege said the day is a reminder of the resilience and unity that bind the nation together despite its challenges. He urged citizens to keep faith in Nigeria and continue to work for peace, progress, and development in their communities.

Ada Bekwarra II also used the opportunity to thank the Governor of Cross River State, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for his selfless leadership and the contributions he has made to the development of the state.

According to him, independence is not only about celebrating freedom but also about taking responsibility for building a country that future generations will be proud of. He encouraged the youth to remain hopeful and to see themselves as active contributors to the nation’s growth.

He concluded by praying for Cross River’s peace and prosperity, calling on leaders and citizens alike to embrace unity and uphold the values of justice, fairness, and service to humanity.
