A woman of five husbands.
Known in whispers, judged by glances.
You could probably find her nudes if you searched hard enough —
Not on Instagram, but in the minds of those who refused to forget who she used to be.
She didn’t go looking for ministry.
She went looking for water.
But she met The Well Himself.
Jesus didn’t flinch.
He didn’t look away.
He didn’t bring up her past to shame her —
He brought it up to heal her.
”You’ve had five husbands… and the man you’re with now isn’t your husband either.” — John 4:18
Truth pierced her, but love held her.
She came for water,
But left with a river of living water.
The harlot became a herald.
The broken woman became the first evangelist to Samaria.
God used her story — scandal and all —
To announce His grace to a thirsty town.
Let that sink in.
That person you gossip about?
God might be preparing him/her to lead a revival.
That past you’re ashamed of?
It might be the platform for someone else’s salvation.
Don’t count out the woman at the well.
She drinks from grace now.
And she’s not hiding anymore.
