Tinubu Mourns Ghanaian Ministers Killed in Helicopter Crash

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has offered his deepest condolences to President John Mahama and the people of Ghana following a tragic helicopter crash that killed eight people, including two senior ministers. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, claimed the lives of Ghana’s Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah and Environment Minister Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed.

In a statement released on Wednesday, President Tinubu assured Ghana that “the thoughts and prayers of the government and people of Nigeria are with them during this time of profound national loss.” He urged the bereaved families to find comfort in the fact that their loved ones died while serving their country.

The Nigerian President concluded by offering prayers for the peaceful repose of the departed souls and strength for the families and friends left behind.
