President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has left Abuja for a 10-day working vacation in Europe, the presidency confirmed in a statement released on Thursday.
According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the trip is part of President Tinubu’s annual leave for 2025.
The statement notes that Tinubu is scheduled to spend his time in France and the United Kingdom. While described as a working vacation, the presidency emphasized that he will use the period to rest while also handling official duties from abroad.
This marks the president’s first official annual leave of the year. The State House has assured the public that government operations will proceed without disruption during his absence.
