Delegates from Study Group Six of the Senior Executive Course (SEC) 48, 2026, National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), paid a working visit to the Cross River State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (CRSMEDA) as part of their strategic study tour of the state.



The 17-member delegation, led by Prof. S.Y.B. Kura and comprising senior executives from various federal parastatals and the Presidency, praised the state government’s sustained commitment to strengthening enterprise development and improving local livelihoods.
Welcoming the delegation, the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of CRSMEDA, Mr. Great Ogban, expressed gratitude for the visit. He detailed the agency’s key achievements over the years, highlighting how CRSMEDA continues to drive micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) growth. The interactive session served as a robust platform for knowledge sharing, policy alignment, and strategic networking.
As part of the visit, the NIPSS delegation toured CRSMEDA’s facility to gain deeper insights into Cross River State’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, investment opportunities, and vibrant tourism potential.
To conclude the visit, the delegation presented an award of recognition to CRSMEDA, commending the agency’s vital contributions to the MSME sector and expressing appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to them throughout the state.
