That man is Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

With President Tinubu in office and Delta now in APC, Okowa’s national network across APC is an asset Delta cannot waste.
He was Governor, he was in NGF, he knows every former Governor who is now Senator.
That is influence Delta North can use.
Under Okowa as Governor, Delta North saw what it means to have a leader with vision: the transformation of Delta North is an unforgettable achievement.
Okowa as Senator will not just sponsor bills.
He will bring federal presence the way he did as Governor – because he knows how to write proposals that Abuja funds.
Okowa is a medical doctor, an administrator, a policy formulator.
He created the Contributory Health Insurance Scheme that became a model for Nigeria.
He created the first Technical College system and Entrepreneurship programmes.
In the Senate today, we need people who can sponsor quality bills, not just attendance. We need a Senator who will push for:
– Federal Medical Centres upgrade in Delta North
– Bills for better funding for primary healthcare
– Bills to restructure Niger Delta development
– Stronger Local Content laws to benefit Delta
Okowa has the intellectual capacity to lead that debate. He is not just a politician. He is a technocrat.

We need a man who is acceptable to all.
Okowa is the only politician in Delta North who has won elections in all 9 LGAs with massive votes. He has no tribal barrier.
He is Ika by birth, but Aniocha and Oshimili call him their son, and Ndokwa calls him their brother.
In a time where Delta North needs unity to compete with Delta South and Central, Okowa is the unifier.
If Delta wants to produce Governor again in 2031, Delta North must be united. Only Okowa can unite Delta North for that future battle.
Politics is about interest. Okowa coming back to Senate under APC will consolidate APC in Delta. He will bring his huge political wisdom , his national goodwill and his governance experience to strengthen the party.
Why waste such a political asset at home in Agbor when Delta needs him in Abuja?
Some go to Senate to learn. Some go to Senate to lead.
Okowa will go to Senate to lead from day one. Delta North does not need a learner.
Delta North needs a leader. Delta North does not need a first-timer who will be struggling to find his seat. Delta North needs a ranking Senator who knows the way.
