Aisha Buhari Reveals Late Husband’s Last Wish: A Plea for Forgiveness from Nigerians

In a poignant revelation following the passing of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, his widow, Aisha Buhari, has shared a deeply personal request from her late husband to the Nigerian people.

Speaking to the press, Mrs. Buhari disclosed that the former president had, since leaving office, repeatedly expressed a profound desire for Nigerians to forgive him for any perceived shortcomings during his time in power.

“Ever since he left office, he often told me that if he passed away before me, I should kindly ask Nigerians to forgive him for any wrongs he might have committed during his time in power,” Aisha Buhari stated, her voice tinged with emotion.
