With profound gratitude to Almighty God, I humbly and wholeheartedly accept my appointment as Secretary of the Investment Promotion Commission, Cross River State.
I wish to express my deepest appreciation to His Excellency, Apostle (Dr.) Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the Governor of our dear State for finding me worthy of this important responsibility. This appointment is not only an honour, but also a call to greater service, to commitment and to dedication to the development and economic transformation of our State. I am truly humbled by the confidence reposed in me and I assure His Excellency of my unwavering loyalty, diligence, commitment and determination to contribute meaningfully toward the realization of the administration’s vision and objectives.
Let me also extend my sincere gratitude to His Excellency, Rt Hon. Peter Odey, Ph.D, the Deputy Governor of CRS whose encouragement, guidance, and support over the years have remained invaluable. Your belief in my abilities and your commitment to empowering capable individuals have greatly inspired my journey. I deeply appreciate your role and your confidence in my capacity to serve.
Mt special appreciation goes to the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. (Dr.) Emmanuel Ironbar for his invaluable support, wise counsel and unwavering encouragement. Your leadership prowess, accessibility, and commitment to identifying and nurturing young and viable minds have contributed immensely to this milestone in my life. I remain grateful for your trust and confidence.
To my family, friends, associates, mentors, and numerous well-wishers, I thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and steadfast support throughout the years.
This appointment is a reminder that no one succeeds alone, and I am grateful to everyone who has contributed in one way or the other to my personal and professional development.
As I accept this responsibility, I do so with a deep sense of duty, humility, and commitment.
I fully understand the expectations that come with this office and the strategic role of the Investment Promotion Commission in attracting investments, creating opportunities, stimulating economic growth and improving the welfare of our people.
