The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Edo State received a high-profile delegation on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, led by Archbishop Dr. Emmah Gospel Isong, JP, its South-South National Vice President and Head of Christian Central Chapel International (City of Testimonies) in Calabar.
The visit was part of an apostolic working tour aimed at strengthening fellowship and honoring key figures in the Nigerian Christian community.
Archbishop Isong’s delegation included prominent figures such as Evangelist Hope Ese and Bishop Kelly Obasuyi. The visit was facilitated by the Edo State PFN Chairman, Pastor Dr. Margaret O. Agbonifo, alongside her deputies, Reverend Dr. Osadolor Asemota and Bishop Dr. C. O. Ehidiamhen and the Secretary, Reverend Phil Arojie. Also present was Reverend Humphrey Arheghan, the National Directorate of Security.
A major highlight of the visit was a courtesy call to Papa Felix Omobude, the former PFN National President. The visit culminated in a profound moment at the home church of Mama Margaret Idahosa, spiritual mother to Archbishop Isong and widow of the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa.
Mama Idahosa warmly hosted the team for a sumptuous lunch and imparted ‘motherly blessings’ upon the PFN President, His Eminence Bishop Dr. Francis Wale Oke, as well as Archbishop Isong and his team.
During the visit, Archbishop Isong took the opportunity to reflect on his humble beginnings, recalling his time serving as an usher under the revered late Archbishop Benson Idahosa. The trip underscored the strong bonds within the Pentecostal community and paid tribute to the foundational leaders of the faith in Nigeria.
