EFCC Counsel Challenges Yahaya Bello: Utilize Kogi’s ‘Ultra-Modern Hospital’ That You Built

A lawyer representing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has publicly challenged former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello to seek medical treatment at the “ultra-modern hospital” he reportedly boasted about constructing in Kogi State during his tenure.

The EFCC counsel, addressing recent developments concerning Bello’s health claims, pointed out the proximity of Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, to Abuja.

“From Abuja to Lokoja is two hours,” the lawyer stated, contrasting it with the “six-hour flight abroad” Bello might consider for treatment.

The lawyer’s remarks implicitly question the necessity of seeking medical care internationally, given the former governor’s previous public pronouncements regarding the quality of healthcare infrastructure developed under his administration in Kogi State.
