When I got my job here in the UK they asked for my social media handles. That was the first real eye opener for me. It made me realize that social media isn’t just “vibes and cruise.” It’s your digital CV. People are watching.
Recently, I even heard that America now checks your digital footprint before granting visas. Just imagine you’ve spent years online dragging people, making a public nuisance of yourself, entertaining a crowd that won’t be there when it matters… then boom, one post ruins your future.
Also when I was selected for the U.S. Academy for Women Entrepreneurs out of 16,000 applicants, only 120 were chosen I submitted all my social media links. Now imagine if I had spent my time fighting, or clout-chasing with people who have no vision, no direction, nothing to lose. Would I have made it?
Listen, staying out of drama isn’t cowardice. It’s clarity. You know what’s at stake. Don’t let temporary hype destroy long-term opportunities. Some of these people when you google them you see very sad things about them on google.
Keep your page clean. Keep your name out of nonsense. Learn to walk away, not because you’re weak, but because you have too much to lose by engaging with pigs who enjoy the mud.
