In a grand display of community spirit and gratitude, Dr. Inyang Asibong, Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Gender mainstreaming hosted a New Year celebration at her residence, bringing together a diverse gathering of community members and leaders, cultural masquerade groups and political stakeholders.

She also specifically highlighted the success of the Calabar Carnival, a flagship event that has put Cross River State on the global map, showcasing its rich cultural heritage and attracting tourists from far and wide.
Dr. Asibong urged community members and leaders to continue supporting the government and to rally behind the Governor’s re-election bid. Her message was warmly received by the gathering, who praised her for her dedication to the community.
