Ralph Morphy Joins CBM National Leaders At Presidential Villa, As Tinubu Charges Youths On 10 Million Votes Pledge

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on Monday received the national leadership and State Coordinators of the City Boys Movement (CBM) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in a strategic engagement aimed at consolidating youth support for the administration and strengthening grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting brought together CBM leaders from across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, including the State Coordinator of the City Boys Movement in Cross River State, Comrade Ralph Adoga Morphy.

Addressing the youth leaders, President Tinubu eulogized the efforts and organizational drive of the City Boys Movement, describing the group as a critical force in the youth constituency. He commended the Movement’s leadership for its bold pledge to deliver 10 million votes for his re-election in the 2027 presidential election.

The President charged the coordinators to intensify their efforts at the grassroots, calling on them to do even more in mobilizing young Nigerians, articulating the gains of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and serving as ambassadors of the government in their respective states.

The engagement, which lasted several hours, focused on three key areas: expanding youth participation in governance, deepening public understanding of the Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in areas of economic reform, student loan scheme, youth empowerment and job creation, and building a formidable, unified grassroots structure for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of 2027.

Speaking after the meeting, the Cross River State Coordinator, Ralph Adoga Morphy, described the parley as timely and energizing. He said it was important for him to join forces with other state leaders to align strategies and reaffirm loyalty to the President.

“As State Coordinator of the City Boys Movement in Cross River State, it was important to join forces with other CBM leaders across the country where we were addressed by Mr. President and charged to do even more. Mr. President eulogized efforts of the CBM leaders who had pledged to deliver 10 million votes for him in the 2027 elections,” Morphy stated.

He assured that the Cross River chapter of the movement will return to the field with renewed vigor to mobilize young people across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state, noting that Cross River remains firmly committed to the success of the Tinubu administration.

The City Boys Movement, a youth support group loyal to President Tinubu, has in recent months intensified its nationwide mobilization, with structures in all states working to galvanize first-time voters and young professionals for the ruling party.
