The Cross River State Chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors extends warm congratulations to the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency (Apostle) Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, on his resounding landslide victory and subsequent emergence as the official flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.

Governor Otu’s unopposed emergence as the APC flagbearer, with 116,038 votes cast, reflects the overwhelming confidence of Cross Riverians in his leadership and the continuity of his ‘People First’ agenda. The outcome is a clear endorsement of his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, infrastructural development and the welfare of the people.
In the same vein, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors congratulate all successful candidates for the National and State House of Assembly who emerged victorious in their respective senatorial districts, federal and state constituencies. Your victories demonstrate the trust and support of party members at the grassroots.
As we move toward the presidential primaries, the State Coordinator, Amb. Soni Abang, calls on all APC stalwarts, faithfuls and supporters to remain united and turn out en-masse at their respective wards on Saturday, May 23, 2026, to mobilize and vote overwhelmingly for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
