Your recent approval of ₦800 million as start-up capital for young people to venture into agribusiness is not just a promise fulfilled; it is a lifeline to our economy and a bold statement of your commitment to sustainable development in Cross River State. Agriculture remains the backbone of our state’s economy, and this strategic investment will not only empower the individual beneficiaries but will uplift their households, create jobs, and strengthen our food security as a state and as a nation.
This initiative will reduce overdependence on political appointments, open new doors of prosperity, and inspire a new generation of agro-entrepreneurs. Your Excellency, you have once again proven that your “People First” mantra is not a slogan but a working policy that is changing lives.
