A frontline aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency, Engr. Dr. George Ndifon Abang, has praised the “Prince Is Coming Movement” for organising a large-scale endorsement rally in Ikom.

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the event, which was held at the Ikom Township Stadium, Abang described the turnout as a reflection of growing unity and support for the APC. He said the endorsement of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu reflects public confidence in their leadership.
Abang, who mobilised his supporters to attend the event, said the large turnout demonstrated increasing support for the APC in Cross River State and the country at large. He also pointed to ongoing infrastructure projects, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road and the approved Bakassi Deep Seaport, as indicators of economic progress. According to him, these initiatives, alongside other development programmes, are expected to boost the economic fortunes of the state.
He added that Governor Otu’s leadership style and development efforts have endeared him to residents, particularly in Obubra and Etung Local Government Areas.
Abang further commended the progenitor, Director General of the organisation and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Chief Emmanuel Ironbar, as well as the Central Planning Committee led by the Obudu Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Dr. Peter Undiandeye, and other members for their grassroots mobilisation efforts. He described their role as vital to strengthening party cohesion ahead of future elections.
The “Prince Is Coming Movement” is a pro-government support group backing the administration of Governor Otu.
