Today, I would like to underscore the hypocrisy that pervades our Nigerian society. When a poor man’s son braids his hair, or pierces their body in multiple places, draws tattoos on obvious and hidden body parts, the affluent class perceives them as irresponsible and even goes so far as to label them as criminals.
Nowadays, we see the sons of our wealthy and influential citizens drawing tattoos, piercing their bodies, and braiding their hair. And,proudly taking pictures with their parents.
No complaints or derogatory statements are made. They kindly associate that to demography and trends. “What a fanciful adaptation ”
One thing that God cannot take away from you is your ability to focus on your vision. Unfortunately, many of us are children of poor parents, and no matter how intelligent and bright we may be, opportunities are often out of our reach.
It takes real to recognize real..hence from 2015 through 2019 Ben Ayade broke the jinx .Engaged people to the great Harbour of opportunities in Government not minding their background or social status because he himself is of the same humble background.”Him papa na laborer,Him mama deh push moi moi and akara for wheel barrow the sale.
From this background Ayade pulled the most intelligent laboratory work which was adopted by multinational corporation”Shell” poor man pikin o! From the interior forest of kakum o! Imagine such an intellectual property. Na beans?
Before 40, Ayade has achieved every comfort of a luxury home and abroad before coming to serve in politics. Do you want to question such excellence? No.Wont you rather have him be your coach ? Ask him how? Not why?
In our society where they ask you for your certificate to give you a job. You bring a degree, they will ask for a master’s; if you obtain a master’s, they will request a PhD. They continually adjust the goalpost, making it impossible for them to assist you. Ben Ayade broke those freakishly bearing protocols and engaged thousands of people into gainful opportunities.
Though, the universe is the ultimate provider of opportunities . I’m urging you to be the best in your crafts.
Certainly, there’s nobody God lifted without using a man as a gateway. But, Opportunities granted by humans are conditional, whereas those provided by God are divine.
Seek divine opportunities and strive to achieve success with determination. The key to success is right before you.”Just Engage”
Do not forget to allocate time to your goals, regardless of your other activities. Remember, your ticking clock is a reminder of the urgency to succeed.
By the way, I was a broken child. Most elites in my village detested me. They warned their children never to be friends with me because I was homeless at the age of 9 through 11, As a broken child, I was sleeping in the public market square in my hired wheelbarrow, collecting cigarettes on credit from my cousin Gregory Adie to retail, keeping the profit of 10 Naira, and paying back the wholesale packet price of 200 Naira.
The love of God is enduring. The humility I share is a result of how I cannot really imagine where I am today.
To be a subject of mockery in the entire community 31 years ago, and now a positive reference point is simply improbable.
My loving wife actually doesn’t permit me to say most of my stories because they affect her emotions. She’s a writer and publisher now, and one day we shall read more in her books.
The grace of God looks through beyond braids, tattoos, piercing, orphan, poor backgrounds. In fact, the grace of God dwells more with people of the above background…..e.g. Ben Ayade.
Thank you.
