Mbube Nation Celebrates Chief Achara Anoh @76, 40 Years on The Throne As Celebrant Gets Car Gift

Odajie Mbube community came alive today as family, friends, and dignitaries gathered to celebrate Chief Buturo James Achara Anoh on his 76th birthday and the 40th anniversary of his reign as Chief.

The double celebration was chaired by the Speaker, Cross River State House of Assembly, and attended by members of the State Assembly, council chairmen, Directors General, councilors, and well-wishers from across the state and beyond.

Speaking at the event, Alhaji Abdulkarim Adamu , former Senior Special Assistant on Non-Indigene Muslim Affairs, said he attended with stakeholders from the Hausa community to honor Chief Anoh’s decades of leadership and his role in fostering unity among diverse groups in Mbube and beyond.

The highlight of the occasion was a surprise gift from the Chief’s son, Hon. Austin Super Anohb, who presented his father with a brand new Toyota Camry to mark both milestones.

Hon. Augustine Super Anoh described his father as a pillar of wisdom, peace, and service whose 40-year reign has brought stability and development to Odajie Mbube.

Guests commended Chief Anoh for his commitment to community development, peacebuilding, and cultural preservation over the last four decades.

The celebration featured traditional dances, goodwill messages, and prayers for the Chief’s continued health, wisdom, and long life.
